Wed, Nov 14 (tomorrow) from 6-7:30 pm in M-4 is our rescheduled EL 101 workshop. Please come and learn more about Expeditionary Learning and your child’s school experience.
In addition to District-wide days off (Wed-Fri Nov 21-23), SELS also has NO SCHOOL on Mon/Tues, Nov 19/20. We are off the entire Thanksgiving week.

Friday, Dec 7 is our Gratitude Dinner from 6-8 pm at the Recreation Center. This is a potluck and one of our only “all-school” events, meaning approx. 350-400 of the SELS community will be together at one time and place. There will also be some students performances. Please keep the evening free. (more info to come later)
Wed, Dec 12 is a Minimum Day.
Thurs, Dec 20 is our Celebration of Learning from 6-7:30 pm. This bi-annual tradition showcases student work for the first part of the year.
Saturday, December 22, 2012 6:30-9:00 pm, special event at the Resort at Squaw Creek: Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton is speaking; should be a great event to attend with kids! Tickets are going fast & will probably sell out long before the event ($35 for members – $25 for kids under 18). You can also volunteer at the event & attend with no charge.
